Starting with 3D Sprint 2025, the software versioning scheme is now based on the year and quarter of release. This change improves clarity, ensures consistency, and reflects the ongoing evolution and progress of the software.
Please note that printers must be running the latest printer firmware update to be able to submit print jobs with 3D Sprint 5.4. For the latest firmware version please consult the 3D Sprint - Minimum Firmware Guide found at on the 3D Sprint Download page.
Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System is recommended. Windows 7 and Windows 8.0 are not supported by 3D Sprint 4.0 version. If you are using Windows 7, please do not upgrade to 3D Sprint 4.0 or newer. If you are using Windows 8.0, please update it to Windows 8.1 in order to run 3D Sprint 4.0 or newer.

Multiple Vents/ Drains can be generated using polyline, edge, box and lasso methods.
Reset command in tool now named Clear.
Vent/Drain commands now implement Include and Exclude modes.
Mouse wheel can be used to make incremental changes in Transform command.
Right mouse button has more streamlined Model Manager Implementation.
Default group name followed by numerical value when creating new groups.
Collision outline can be visualized in Transform Tool.
New Features
Enhancements to Print Screen feature for saving Snapshots.
Configurable Reporting
An incremental set of enhancements built upon the original Configurable Reports added in 2025.2.
Output Layer and Scan Times added as options for Configurable Reports.
Build Style parameters added to SLA Build report.
Recoater parameters added to Configurable Reports.
SLS Build profile parameters, Part profile and Scale and offset parameters can now be added to the Report.
3D Sprint Preferences info can now be stored in the Report.
SLA
Tool Shelling Command
A command for the easy preparation of sacrificial parts with a removed single-face shell that has been replaced with an infill/lattice.
Low points of part and infills after toolshelling can be supported by Smart supports.
Rotate and Shift Lattice options available in Tool Shelling command.
.sladdd file format requirement for Tool Shelling.
Smart Supports can now handle Tool Shell data.
Smart Support Region-Based Workflow
Enhancement set for the Smart Support command that will allow the user to define & support multiple regions of the mesh with differing Smart Support Styles.
The feature adds value by allowing a user well-versed in modifying support parameters to break down complex, monolithic supporting problems into individually addressable scenarios.
ArrayCast - Industrial Casting Stacking
A command for the rapid creation of QuickCast part stacks in polar arrays. The command adds value by increasing speed/productivity in the software and removes a possible need for some external design softwares. The output is highly dense, printer runtime efficient, build files for SLA and PSLA printers with QuickCast-Diamond/QuickCast Array material
configurations.
Create Stem tool can be used to design a stem structure to be used as a sprue for casting applications. User can use
sample accessories provided to create the material delivery system, or import their own custom accessories.
Arrange Parts - Part meshes can strategically be arrayed around the stem.
Miscellaneous Improvements for SLA
Vent/Drain check in Quality Check tool for QuickCast configuration.
Replace Part Command
Command to swap an already-supported part with a new mesh. The result is a supported object. For assisting with iterative design workflows, adding speed/productivity in the software by removing support rebuilding stage.
Show Instances/Make Unique command added to Advanced Right Mouse Button Menu.
Replace Part added to Model Manager for Right Mouse Button.
Reset and Commit Transform added to Right Mouse Button command menu.
Key Improvements
Tagging feature added for dentures on NextDent 300 printer
User Style and Preset Management
Tools to ease style data between multiple devices developed for customer support.
The effort expands what information can be bundled within printer configuration export so it can include total style information (ie: with parameters) and the extended user.db.
Export Style Records and Presets to Configuration files.
Advanced menu for adding user styles and presets for Printer Configuration.
Style Picker added to Printer Configuration.
Miscellaneous Improvements
View Slice for Projector Systems
The user will have the capability to launch a View Slice mode on projector-based systems such as Figure 4 and PSLA 270.
Results of slicing can be affected by several user parameters that can be manipulated, such as Scale & Offset. The View Slice feature is a valuable late-stage review tool for technical users who wish to validate input before submitting the job to the printer. It assists in closing the engineering feedback loop sooner and faster, to ensure greater successes per each attempted print.
Default region layer deletion is locked.
SmartSupport Dialog features Expose Gusset Visualization for Pro License.
Anchor Point Area tool now includes arrangement type.
Accuracy Wizard now always shows small parts.
Scale and Offset Wizard able to run iteratively.
