Known Issues
When importing a .BFF file, the original printer environment associated with that file cannot be restored. This affects the print mode, materials and build style for SLA printers.
Changing printer setup after importing a slice file (.BFF, .SLI, .SLC) will result in the affected model data being discarded without a warning message. This action can still be undone by using the Undo command (Ctrl + Z).
When imported the slice file (.BFF, .SLI, .SLC) the default position of the Sampling Rate in the View dialog is the 4th out of 6 steps for the sake of the data manipulation performance. Thus some partial data wouldn’t be shown by default and this can cause parts with a QuickCast build style including their vents and drains to not appear to display correctly.
To display the full Sampling Rate:
Open the View command.
Scroll down to the Sampling Rate.
Drag the slider to the full rate.
This should display the model with the full slice data.
There has been a printer model consolidation on the ProJet 6000/7000 printers and all existing 6000/7000 SD and MP models are NOT supported from 3D Sprint version 2.5 until they have been updated with the latest firmware. Once updated, they will be displayed as an HD model in the 3D Sprint software.
5500X printers that were supported from the previous 3DSPRINT Client version are NOT supported from 3D Sprint version 2.5 unless have been updated with the latest firmware and received a small hardware upgrade. Please contact your reseller or field service engineer for more information on this upgrade.
The ProJet MJP 3600 printer will also require a firmware upgrade to support 3D Sprint version 2.5.
