Please note that printers must be running the latest printer firmware update to be able to submit print jobs with 3D Sprint 3.1. For the latest firmware version please consult the 3D Sprint - Minimum Firmware Guide found at on the 3D Sprint Download page.
Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System is recommended. The product may still function on some Windows 7 systems, but any issues encountered on Windows 7 will not be investigated.
Release Date: May, 2021
Key Improvements
Licensing Module
A new dialog shows the available licenses, and allows you to choose the one that you want to use to run 3D Sprint. You can also reset the last used option in Preferences so that this dialog shows up on the subsequent running of the application.
Key New Features
Separated iPro 9000 Printers in Printer Setup
Printer Setup dialog shows different types of iPro 9000 printers instead of a single iPro 9000.
Appropriate MDMs are now available for each type of iPro 9000.

When opening legacy files that were prepared for iPro 9000 in 3D Sprint 3.0 or earlier, the printer will be set to iPro 9000 XL if the MDM was set to 750 XL in these files. Otherwise, the printer will be set to iPro 9000 SV.
Note: Only the iPro 9000 SV allows real connection to the printer, so the “Use Installed Material” and “Use Installed MDM” buttons are available for that printer.
Editable Layer Thickness
You can now specify the layer thickness for each region for all parts and supports on the Print Platform. Additionally a new option named “Layer Thickness” has been added to Quality Check. This enables the user to check for conflicting layer thickness across all parts on the Print Platform and highlights parts and regions that are not compatible with the minimum layer thickness.
Key Improvements
Improved Build Time Estimation
A new Printer Parameters tool added under the Printer Tools allows you to customize printer parameters so that the build time estimate is closer to the actual print time.
New Material
Added new material Accura® Composite PIV for ProX 800 MDM Composite 750F, iPro 8000 and iPro 9000.
Key New Features for Figure 4
Stacked Printing for Industrial Parts
A new Stack Parts tool allows you to stack multiple parts on the Print Platform and provides necessary supporting techniques by using struts to ensure part quality and build success rate. This reduces turnaround time in production settings by up to ~40%. It also reduces the print setup time by 30-60 minutes depending on part complexity.
Key Improvements for NextDent 5100
Stacked Arches Improvements
Default values of parameters have been updated and the design has been optimized to make resulting parts more accurate. Therefore, the part quality and accuracy of orthodontic models have been increased so that at least 90% of the models are within 100μm accuracy and the standard deviation of the results are within ~2%. Additionally, new Advanced parameters allow you to define the lattice and base bar for overall robustness.
Key Improvements for NextDent 5100 & Figure 4
Create Struts Improvements
Added a new controller, allowing you to offset the strut tip from a picked end point on a part and adjust the normal of the tip of the strut. Struts are now designed in such a way that they require as few supports as possible.
With a new Preset option, you can now increase productivity by saving settings as a preset and reusing it across 3D Sprint sessions as needed.
Key Improvements
New Material
A new DuraForm PP White material is available for sPro 60 HD-HS mode.
New Material Notification
You can now get a notification via auto-update mechanism when a new or updated material is available. This will only update 3D Sprint. Printer Software (Sinter) will need to be updated separately.

and bug fixes, please consult the What's New document
