Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System is recommended. Windows 7 and Windows 8.0 are not supported by 3D Sprint 4.0 version. If you are using Windows 7, please do not upgrade to 3D Sprint 4.0 or newer. If you are using Windows 8.0, please update it to Windows 8.1 in order to run 3D Sprint 4.0 or newer.

New Features
Utility for Resetting 3D Sprint
3D Sprint now includes the CleanUp3DSprint tool to reset options, logs, and databases. Located in the ~<Installation Path>\TechnicalSupport folder, it clears temporary folders and backs up the user.db file. A message confirms success or failure. No license is needed to use this tool.

New Name Option in Combine Command
Added a “Name” option in the Combine tab of the Combine/Separate command to allow custom naming of combined parts.
Outline View for Cutting Parts (Subscription)
Added an “Outline” option in the Split command to view the outline of cutting parts during preview.
New Printer Firmware Update Option
Added a “Check For Printer Firmware Update” option in Preferences for easy firmware updates.

Randomize Border Start/Stop Option
A new “Randomize Border Start/Stop” option in the build style varies the starting and stopping points of the Layer Border Prime (LBP) process on each layer, preventing visible seams or lines.

Gate Support Improvements
Ability to create a single support structure for multiple parts without intersections.
Low island regions in small gaps are now supported by small gusset-like support structures.
Improved algorithm to prevent support pillars from intersecting the inner part surface.
“Ignore Horizontal Plane” parameter now enabled by default for all Figure 4 styles.
3D Sprint Basic users can now remove on-part pillars in gate supports.
Improved algorithm to prevent support tips from penetrating through the part, resulting in less surface defects.
Enhanced Pulse Step Control in Build Style
Added new options for precise control over region layer pulse step:
Layer Speed: Sets elevator velocity in inches/mm per second.
Interval Up Time: Specifies time for elevator ascent.
Interval Down Pause Time: Specifies pause time after descent before next interval.
Enhanced Build Style Display
Build Style now shows only the style name to prevent the printer name and material from hiding the actual style name.
Key Improvements
Visual Representation of Build XY Area
XY margin changes in the Auto Place command are now visually represented with a dashed line on the print platform.
Changes are stored in the Auto Place style and added to the default printer build style.
Sync Layer Area Option
New “Sync Layer Area” option in View Slice command to synchronize layer area views with the Layer/Scan Time window.
