Change part or subpart structure. It is useful to edit subparts separately, or print an assembly as separate parts.
Note: Click Simple
UI
to switch between the simple and the advanced User Interface. In the Simple
UI, only the tools for minimum workflow are visible.
There are two operations available within this command:
Combine - Select and combine subparts to create a new part.
Separate - Separate selected part into it's subparts, this means that the subparts will be separate parts.
Note: Auxiliary parts, such as supports etc, will be removed from the related part when using this command.
IMPORTANT: It is strongly recommended that you combine parts when creating supports if they may be colliding or interlocked.
In Prepare tab, click Combine / Separate.
Select action: Combine or Separate.
Combine

Click Combine into new part.
The subparts will be separated into a new part.
