View Slice

Use the View Slice command to view a selected range of slices from an imported slice file. The visibility of different slice types can be filtered using the available check boxes.

The following file types can also have the View Slice command visible.

SLA Printers:

      • BFF

      • SLI

The following file types can also have the View Slice command visible.

MJP Printers:

      • SLC

 

Range

You can set and navigate the slice range using the navigation bar that can be found on the right and side of the screen or by dragging the top or bottom pain of the selected view range shown.

The selected range of slices can be moved by either dragging it up or down with the mouse or by using the up and down arrow keys. Hold shift to move 5 slices at a time.

The view range can also be set by entering the maximum and minimum value in the Range option.

Max - Upper value of the selected range.

Slice number - The slice number of the upper value of the selected range

Min - Lower value of the selected range.

Slice number - The slice number of the lower value of the selected range

 

 

Visibility Options

Part Border

Layer Border - Shows or hides border of a layer.

Up Facing Border - Shows or hides upward facing layer border.

Down  Facing Border - Shows or hides downward facing layer border.

Layer Border Prime- Shows or hides outer border of a layer.

Large Layer Border - Shows or hides inner border of a layer

Large Up Facing Border - Shows or hides upward facing inner border of a layer.

Large Down Facing Border - Shows or hides downward facing inner border of a layer.

 

Support Border

Support Border - Shows or hides border of generated supports.

Support Interface Up Border - Shows or hides border of supports connecting to the down face of a part.

Support Interface Down Border - Shows or hides border of supports connecting to the up face of a part.

 

Hatch

Layer Hatch - Shows or hides internal hatch layers of the part.

Up Facing Hatch - Shows or hides upward facing hatch of the part.

Down Facing Hatch - Shows or hides downward facing hatch of the part.

QuickCast Diamond Hatch - Shows or hides hatch of the part for QuickCast Diamond Build Style.

Note: The QuickCast Diamond Hatch option is available for materials that support QuickCast Diamond build style.

 

Fill

Up Facing Fill - Shows or hides upward facing fill of the part.

Down Facing Fill- Shows or hides downward facing fill of the part.

Outline - Shows or hides outline of the part.

Fill- Shows or hides inside fill of the part.
