Manage Printer Configurations

Use the Manage Printer Configurations command to create a new custom printer configuration and manage printer configurations for your print projects.

When using the Manage Printer Configurations for the first time, a default printer configuration that includes the current settings defined in the Printer is only listed as "Unsaved" in the Printer Configurations List.

To use the default printer configuration for your print project, click Save for later use, or edit the settings by clicking Edit if necessary.

Add printer configurations

To add a new printer configuration, click New . The Printer will open and it allows you to create a new printer configuration. See Printer for more information.

Note: Configuration name is required.

You can also create new printer configuration by duplicating from existing printer configurations. Select existing printer configuration(s) and click Copy . To edit a duplicated printer configuration, select a printer configuration and click Edit . The Printer will open and it allows you to edit the printer configuration. See Printer for more information.

To load a printer configuration on 3D Sprint Platform, select a printer configuration and click Apply .

Delete printer configurations

To delete an existing printer configuration, select a printer configuration and click Delete .

Note: An unsaved printer configuration can not be deleted. Select the printer configuration and click Save first.

Import / Export printer configurations

To import a saved printer configuration to the printer project, click Import .

You can also export existing printer configurations for backup or sharing with your partners. Select printer configurations that you want to export and click Export . The selected printer configurations are exported as a .JSON file.
