ColorJet Printing (CJP) is a 3D Systems technology capable of producing full-color 3D models layer by layer using a two-part material set. It involves two main components: core and binder. Core material is spread in thin layers over the build platform with a roller. Then, color binder is selectively jetted from inkjet print heads over the core layer, causing it to solidify. This process repeats layer by layer until the build is finished.
3D Sprint has only gives access to CJP Printers in the form virtual printers with a very limited set of tools. This means that print jobs cannot be sent from 3D Sprint to CJP Printers directly and must be saved to a 3DPrint (.3dprint) file. All Printer tools, printer setup and material selections have been disabled.
The main commands available to CJP Printers in this version of 3D Sprint are Color, Texture and Engrave
Auto Placement
In the Auto Place command, parts will be arranged from the top-right corner, to optimize the movement of the print head.
